Okay, when the first Harry Potter: and the sorcerers stone came out.( I think it was sold in the US.) I remember getting house cups. Like drink cups, for soda. It just popped in my head, and I remember that. My brother and my sister got Gryffindor, and I got Slytherin. (Haha, coincidence huh?) After the movie was over, and we got into the car, I remember when I realized I got Slytherin, I threw my cup in front of the window. Yeah, I was in big trouble. But it was soo long ago... I still remember like it was yesterday. And oh, when I was little I wanted to be in Harry's room, the cupboard under the stairs I thought it was soooo cool! lolz. Anyway, does anyone remember that? Or no...

Yeeeeees! I remember that cup, too! And I have one! Gryffindor I was in the movie with one of my friends (he´s now 28, I think he was around 20 when we watched it...) and first I got Slytherin, but I nearly cried about this and he was like ,,Hey! Give the girl a Gryffindor cup! They are the red ones!" It was funny :3 Everytime I see this cup, I remember this scene :3

Unfortunately, we didn't have those cups here in my country. I do remember the first time I watched HP though. The theatre was jampacked and I was seated at the front row with my sister. I must admit, I didn't read the series at first and I was such a kid, I didn't know anything that was going on. I just loved the scene of "Leviosa". Haha! I was so fascinated with Hermione Granger that I even used her name as a codename when our class did our Christmas "Kris Kringle". (For those who don't know, Kris Kringle is a sort of game wherein each one in the class has their own code names. Each one picks a name out of a bowl and then that's who you'll give a present to for Christmas)

My mum read the first book and she read it out to me. I was really in love with the magic world from the first time. And I was so happy with the movie :3

After watching the movie (I was fascinated so much), my sister told (actually, PERSUADED hehehehe) me to read the book. The moment I started reading, I got more into it. Hahaha! Now I'm more obsessed with HP than her.

I remember, my little sister had watched the first movie when it came out, and a few days later, we bough it on VHS(remember those?) and being frightened of the picture of Dumbledor on the cover.

LOL @skylark Chump Ringo and his sign xD I carn't spel anyway, the earliest I remember is reading Harry Potter in the fourth or fifth grade, I took the first book (there was a long waiting list for it, it was my teacher's) and read it. I was hooked and I actually managed to sneak off and keep without my teacher noticing it was gone ( I know, it was bad to steal but I didnt even realize I still had it inside my back pack until after school ended!) I also remember the long lines that were outside when the movie premiered. I watched it a year later when it came out on VHS/DVD.

^ the long lines always continue everytime there's an HP premiere. Me and Katie went for the half-blood prince premiere and there was a HUGE line even though we were there like 3 hours before the theatre even OPENED! And all the people were dressed in hogwarts houses' scarves and etc. It really gets you in the spirit x
