It might be cliche but mine is Harry Potter. Mainly because he reminds me a little of my childhood. at the age of 10 my mother had me sent to a juvenile detention center and after that i was sent away to a boys home at the age of 11 until the age of 16 when i finally came home. during those 5 years i went through many ordeals but never let them hold me down. many people talked down to me and told me i would not amount to anything. similar to how the dursleys treated harry. but even through all of that misfortune that Harry undertook in the end he came out as a great and powerful wizard. i myself have taken all the put down and insults and turned them to my advantage by completing college, making money, succeeding in the US Navy, and creating my on non profit organization to help needy families with young children by fixing and donating computers to the families so that the children can grow up with the technology of today. which were things i did not have the luxury to do during my time in the boys home. and that is just a short explanation of why Harry Potter is my favorite character and why i feel that i can relate to his misfortune. My favorite harry potter character is Hermione. She has a lot of courage and girl power. She is the best friend of Harry and Ron. she helps them with school and figuring out clues in how to stop voldemort. They couldn't survive if it wasn't for her knowledge of spells and power. She was strong and devoted to help harry and protect him from voldemort.

My favorite character is Remus Lupin.
Why? Well, first off all, he's actually a decent (well, more than decent) DADA teacher. He's a Marauder, which automatically makes him cool. He loves chocolate, which I like. [: He was a member of the Order of the Pheonix, both times around.
On a more serious note, he knows how to deal with adversity. He's always been discriminated against for being a werewolf and he knows how to deal with it.
Despite the fact that he's been an outcast and discriminated against all his life, he sees the good in others and is able to forgive, even when others are incapable of doing either of those. Being able to do that after going through everything that he had to go to is very impressive.
Something else that I love about Remus is that he's no perfect. He can be cowardly at times, but he knows he's not perfect. Some people may like the perfect characters, but I don't. Not being perfect makes him relatable. Yeah, I was mad at him in book 7 when he tries to leave Tonks, but I could tell that it was fear getting to him, which, in the middle of a war, is understandable, and probably similar to something I would do.
He's also incredibly loyal, which is something I value highly. He will defend the people he loves to no end, like when he jumped in front of Harry and battled a Death Eater for him in OotP during the battle in the Department of Mysteries.
Even his Boggart shows that he's a great person, because he fears his transformations, during which he could possibly kill the people around him.
He was the most level headed Marauder, but a Marauder none the less.
So yeah. That was a rambling attempt to explain why he's my favorite character and I'm sure I didn't do him justice.

My favourite characterby far is hermione grainger because she is perfect. She is beautiful,smart,sensitive,cute just everything. She also goes through so much change throughout the both books and films. She in my mind keeps the three main characters together with smart thinking and planning and hold the leading lady part really well. In conclusion she is just amazing and by far the best character in Harry potter

My favourite character is Luna Lovegood. She's odd and wierd which makes her so cute and loveable. I love how she basically gets bullied for what she is, but it doesn't stop her at all. She's also such a great friend to Harry, the part in the Deathly Hallows in her room is amazing <3 And I honestly think she's one of the sanest in the books. She's the one that gives the best advice and knows what she's talking about. Jo Rowling said she was the one character who was most comfortable with death which is something I find admirable - very cheesy but true!

My favorite character is Luna Lovegood. She's not afraid to be herself, and although some of her dad's beliefs and doings are far-out, she stands by him. She's an amazing friend, she's funny, odd and brave, and she doesn't worry about what others think.

I love all the Harry Potter characters, but my current favorite is Luna Lovegood. She is a little batty at times, but at heart she is an incredibly wise witch. The thing I love most about Luna is that she has the ability to see right through people and get right down to their cores. She recognizes people's strengths, weaknesses, hopes and fears. Because of this, people do not intimidate her, and she is perfectly content to continue marching to the beat of her own drum, regardless of what anyone else thinks. I truly admire Luna for her wisdom and her bravery, and this is why she is my favorite Harry Potter character.

My favorite Harry Potter character is Neville Longbottom. Throughout the movies, you see him as a shy person, who is very clumsy, and hes always manages to get himself into trouble. He then shows his strength by saving the day in the last movie. He really gives hope to those struggling, because the character assures them that there will be a point in life when its your time to shine, even if your life has been hell to start with. As strange as it seems my favourite is Draco Malfoy. He is such a complex charactare both in the films and the books. You never know whether he is good or bad. You feel he is a ultimate representation of a child that has to live up to his parents failures. He is a fantastic character and something very different from all the other characters.

my favorite harry potter, aside from harry himself, is hermione granger. i believe that intelligent girls sometimes get overlooked in favor of the prettier and more outgoing girls. but she keeps everything in stride, not letting people get her down when they make fun of her when she knows exactly what she wants out of life. i also admire her courage when facing the trials in her relationship with one ron weasley. any girl that can still get the love she wants is alright in my book. true romantic and feminist at heart.

my favorite character is aberforth dumbledore. besides the fact that he saved ~the trios~ lives at least twice, i just think hes awesome. he tries so hard not to care that he ends up caring even more. also he loves goats and who doesn't love goats? #mustlovegoats

My favorite HP character is Luna Lovegood. No matter how many things are said or done to her, she is true to who she is. She may be eccentric but she is kind, caring, brave, and very wise. She has had some horrible things happen to her but she has never changed. She is also loyal to Harry when so many others turned against him. She also stands up for her dad and for the Quibbler no matter what. She is true to herself and to all her friends and family. You couldn't ask for a better person. Twitter name: a_milla_e

My favorite character is Luna Lovegood! her personality and self-respect make me adore her!
she continues to be herself and not let anyone (even other wizards!) turn her down. i would love to have a quirky yet strong friend like her! and i swear.. she was reborn to be LADY GAGA! and i love them both!
